Mrs Christabel Onyejekwe joins the Board of Asseco Software Nigeria Ltd

We are excited to announce that Mrs. Christabel Onyejekwe has joined the Board of Asseco Software Nigeria Ltd (“Asseco Nigeria”). Christabel holds an MBA in Banking & Finance, a Bachelor of Law degree and has completed several Executive Management programs at top International Learning Institutions such as Wharton, MIT, INSEAD and Harvard. She holds an Honorary CIBN Membership and is an associate member of Institute of Directors (IOD). She is also a Fellow of the Compliance Institute of Nigeria.

Christabel has several relevant years of core Banking & Financial Industry experience, holding key positions at several banks, most prominently at UBA Plc, where she served as the pioneer Regional Director Lagos and rose to the rank of General Manager.

Mrs. Onyejekwe is currently the Executive Director, Business Development at the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) Plc. Prior to that, she has served at NIBSS as Executive Director, Technology & Operations where she handled several strategies for businesses, projects and new payment product development.

 Christabel was recognized by FINTECH Africa as one of the top 30 leading women in Financial Technology in Nigeria and is currently a mentor at WIMBIZ/Women on Boards (WIMBoard) Mentoring program.

 The Financial Services Industry is a key market segment for Asseco Nigeria.
