Adefolu Majekodunmi Becomes the President of the European Business Organization (EBO) Nigeria

Adefolu Majekodunmi the co-founder and Managing Director of Asseco Software Nigeria Ltd (“Asseco Nigeria”), a subsidiary of The Asseco Group, was recently voted as the President of the European Business Organization (EBO) Nigeria. The EBO Nigeria is a business group uniting the main European investors and corporate organizations in Nigeria. It was founded in October 2018 at the European Union (EU)-Nigeria Business Forum. Its main objective is to actively promote trade, investment and exchanges between the European and Nigerian business, advocating European quality standards, best practices and corporate social responsibility.

 

 

The EBO Nigeria is a member of the EBO worldwide Network representing European business interests in markets outside the European Union. The EBO Worldwide Network is active in over 45 key markets globally, supporting European multinationals, as well as micro, small, medium and large enterprises. 

Adefolu has over 20 years of experience with leading technology multinationals. Throughout his career, he has spearheaded the implementation of a wide range of software into the public and private sectors. He was previously a director at Microsoft Nigeria, where he worked in various leadership capacities for 10 years. Prior to Microsoft, Adefolu was the West African Territory Manager at Misys Plc, a global financial software company based in London, UK. Adefolu studied for his MBA at INSEAD’s campuses in France and Singapore. He obtained a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Liverpool, UK, where his project on Innovation in Construction was published. 

Asseco Nigeria is a founding member of the EBO Nigeria. By Adefolu becoming President of the EBO Nigeria, Asseco Nigeria stands to benefit from increased awareness and engagement at the highest levels of public and private sector in Nigeria.
